The joy of making the wealth of knowledge, experience and depth in the works of German authors available to English speakers and my love of the English language are what inspire me to translate into my mother tongue.
My ability to tune into the essence of the thoughts and insights of the author and to convey them with the same intensity of feeling is the result of many years of life experience and of having spent a large part of my adult life living and working in Germany.
Qualification: State-certified translator. Graduated in 2013
I have been a member of the BDÜ (German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators) since June 2013.
